New Visions Counseling offers Individual and group counseling using a tested, three-phased approach that gives individuals and families a new vision for their future.
At the outset, negative behavior, substance use and mental health issues are addressed. New Visions Counseling has developed a variety of approaches, all selected and developed specifically for the population it serves. The group and individual counseling complement and reinforce each other.
Once the behavior, substance use and mental health issues have been addressed, clients are prepared to re-engage with their families. Ideally, the family provides the motivation necessary for additional steps forward. At this point, the client is typically ready to learn new parenting skills.
Many clients benefit from vocational guidance and additional training. New Visions Counseling is prepared to offer this guidance due to its familiarity with relevant, local resources.
